Mangalore : “B Janardhana Poojary, the Congress candidate of Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency is a politician with a clean image and the NISUI will strive for his victory,” said Siddaveer S.V., State President of NSUI.

He was addressing press persons at the Congress Election Office in the city on March 29, Saturday. He said the NSUI has embarked upon a state-wide tour to ensure  the victory of Congress in the upcoming elections. He said NSUI leaders have already visited Ramanagar, Mandya and Chamarajnagar and is now on a DK visit. He said the NSUI will try to sensitise the student and youth on the various schemes implemented by the Congress government in the best interests of the student community.

He said the Congress government has implemented the Right to Education Act in order to ensure good education in private schools to children from deprived sections. He also referred to the Rs 2 incentive to increase attendance of girl children in schools, Ksheera Bhagya and such other schemes. Siddaveer further said the  NSUI has also fought against the pub attack and the ragging menace in college campuses.
