Mysore: Two bike riders met a tragic end in a head on collision between  their bike and a  lorry near the KR Mill on the Bangalore-Mysore Highway on January 2, Thursday. The deceased are Mohan and Shanker of Siddalingapura.

The mishap occurred at around 11.30 am when  the two along with one Mohan were triple riding the bike (M-11 E 2293). A lorry bearing registration number KL-10 AD-7999  which was coming from the opposite direction, knocked down the bike,

All the three who fell on the road sustained serious injuries. Though they were rushed to the Columbia Hospital immediately, two of them died, while  Vishwas  was lucky enough to escape the jaws of death.

The lorry driver is absconding. A case has been registered in  NR Traffic police station.
