Mysuru: K S Eshwarappa had formed the Sangolli Rayanna Brigade only to meet his selfish ends, said BJP National Council Member B P Manjunath.

Addressing media persons at a private hotel here on Saturday, he said, “It would be more meaningful for Eshwarappa to rename the brigade as E-Brigade. Eshwarappa is creating confusion in the minds of party workers at a time when the people of the State are looking at Yeddyurappa as the next chief minister. It is a conspiracy to prevent Yeddyurappa from becoming the CM and he is trying to divide the party under various names.

He regretted that when the voters were expecting a united BJP to fight the forthcoming elections, Eshwarappa was trying to divide the party. He also mentioned that party leaders would write to the disciplinary committee and National President Amit Shah seeking action against Eshwarappa.
