Hassan: In a major setback to former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, H.D. Revanna has given a veiled warning to former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy that if Bhavani is not given a ticket, both of them will rebel in Hassan and Holenarasipura. HD Deve Gowda and HD Kumaraswamy are not agreeing to give ticket to Bhavani Revanna.

It is learnt that this has led to a big crisis in doddagowda’s family over the hassan ticket issue and now he and Bhavani from Hassan have given a veiled warning that if Bhavani is not given a ticket, he and Bhavani from Hassan will revolt in Holenarasipura. Revanna conveyed his stand to Gowda through his close friends and family members and insisted that Bhavani Revanna should be given a ticket.

Despite Kumaraswamy’s adamant stand, a strategy is being hatched to get a ticket from Hassan and has warned that if his wife is not given a ticket, he will not want to, and that the rebellion will stop in Hassan-Holenarasipura and will not campaign in any other constituency.

Revanna is said to have discussed the issue with his close friends at Jnanakshi Kalyana Mandapam in Hassan yesterday and is said to have assured him that if Bhavani Revanna is fielded as a rebel candidate, we will win together. The ticket from Hassan to Swaroop has been reiterated even today in the Pancharatna Yatra in Yeshwanthpur. Overall, the Hassan ticket tussle has turned out to be a big headache for Deve Gowda’s family.
