Sandur: Three people have died after falling into a water tank at the Jindal Steel Factory near Toranagallu in Sandur taluk. The deceased were identified as Jedappa from Bhuvanahalli, Sushant from Bengaluru, and Mahadevan from Chennai.

The incident occurred when the three men were trying to repair a pipe connected to the water tank. The pipe had developed a problem, and the workers were attempting to fix it without shutting off the water supply. While working on the pipe, Mahadevan from Chennai fell into the water tank. In an attempt to rescue him, the other two men also fell into the tank and drowned.

Toranagallu police have registered a case, and the investigation is going on.
