Hyderabad: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi travelled on a state roadways bus in Greater Hyderabad after addressing a public meeting on Thursday night and interacted with the surprised passengers.
Accompanied by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, he boarded a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus following the event held in Saroornagar, within the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency.
During his bus journey, Rahul Gandhi engaged with passengers, distributing ‘Panch Nyay’ brochures and inquiring about the implementation of the free bus travel scheme initiated by the Congress government in the state. He also took the opportunity to discuss the commitments outlined in the Congress national manifesto, particularly focusing on promises made to various segments of society including women, youth, farmers, and workers

Passengers expressed their surprise and excitement at sharing the bus with Rahul Gandhi, seizing the chance to take selfies with him.
Earlier at the public meeting, Rahul Gandhi reiterated his concerns about the BJP’s alleged intentions to undermine the Constitution, pledging to safeguard it. He further pledged to increase reservations and outlined several promises that a potential INDIA bloc government would prioritize, aimed at benefiting different sections of society, revitalizing the economy, and generating employment opportunities.
