Udupi: Pejawar seer’s former driver Arif, hailing from Udupi has reportedly received threat call over phone from Dubai.

Arif has lodged a compliant at Udupi city police station in this regard.

Arif, who was an employee of the seer earlier, had been in the forefront in organising Horekanike by the local Muslim community during the historic Paryaya ceremony of the seer held on January 18. He had also played an important role in organising a blood donation camp as part of the Paryaya Utsav.

The Muslims had played a great role during the seer’s Paryaya ceremony held on January 18, as they voluntarily organised several events upholding communal harmony.
