Udupi: Two more accused were arrested by Manipal police in connection to the Bhasker Shetty murder case on Thursday, August 11.
The number of arrests rose to five after accused Niranjan Bhat’s father Srinivas Bhat and car driver Raghavendra were arrested. They are accused of destroying the evidence.

Bhasker Shetty’s wife Rajeshwari, son Navaneeth Shetty and astrologer Niranjan Bhat are already arrested.

It may be recalled that Bhasker Shetty, a Saudi based businessman and owner of Durga International Hotel in Udupi went missing on July 28. Shetty’s body was found burnt to ashes near Nandalike village of Udupi district on August 6.
