Karkala : Traffic on the  Neere-Bailur road here  has been affected ever since a huge 34 wheeled trolley heading towards Bellary from Kudremukh Iron Ore Company, got stuck in the slush on the  road side on the State Highway stretch on August 5, Tuesday. The truck was transporting spare parts of machinery from the Kudermukh plant.

Though the task of clearing the road had begun on Thursday August 7 morning itself with the  help of a crane, the huge vehicle did not move even an inch. As the road was quite  narrow, movement of other heavy vehicles was virtually impossible.

Presently, alternate arrangements have been made for the movement of heavy vehicles through Kanajar-Guddeyangady road.
