Bantwal : A young man  has met a watery grave in Phalguni river  at Puchchamogaru in Sangabettu village  on March 3, Monday evening. The deceased is Naushad (25), son of PK Aboobakker of Pavoor in Harekala village.

Naushad who worked in  a hotel at Moodbidri used to visit his hometown Harekala once in a month. As it was a bunch on Monday he had returned home and in the evening had been to the riverside  following an invitation from  his friends Rasheed and Riyaz. It is said he accidentally fell into the water and drowned while he was chatting with his friends sitting  atop the dam.

Bantwal Rural Police have registered a case.
