Kasargod: “The government aims at providing land and housing to everyone. We are working towards providing land to every family by 2015”, said Ramesh Chennithala, Kerala state Home Minister after declaring Kasargod as a district sans landless on Monday, March 3.






He was addressing the gathering during at a function organized at City Council Stadium, Vidyanagar to distribute the title deeds.
Around 10,271 out of total 17, 905 applicants were provided with title deeds during the programme and the rest of the applications are under scrutiny. The titled dees will be allotted in the name of both husband and wife. The land thus sanctioned will not be eligible for sale.
Adooru Prakash, Revenue Minister, VP Anil Kumar, Tourism Minister, P.B. Abdul Razak and P.P. Shyamaladevi, President of Zilla Panchayat were present among others.
