Kundapur :  A youth hailing from Tekkatte has ended his life on the railway track by  coming under a moving train at Hattiangady on September 2, Monday evening.

The deceased is Manjunath alias Mohammad (23) of Tekkatte. It is  learnt, he   was dejected in  life as he was suffering from chest pain since some time. A death note found in his pocket said  he himself was responsible for his death.

Sources said Manjunath had changed his name as Mohammad after he had married a Muslim girl from Kenchanur. He worked in a cloth shop while his wife worked in a mobile outlet. It is learnt, the couple were quite happy but the ill-health which affected Manjunath since some time is learnt to have depressed him.

He had left for work as usual on Monday morning, but was found dead  on the tracks at Hattiangady the same evening.

Kundapur police have registered a case and are investigating.
