22 teachers from DK, Udupi selected for Teachers Day Awards

Mangalore : A total of 22 teachers  including 12 teachers from Dakshina Kannada district and ten from Udupi district have been chosen for the DK and Udupi district level Best Teacher Awards given by the Department of Education.  In DK district  five teachers from high school section and seven from primary school section  have been selected for the Awards while in Udupi five teachers each from both the sections have been chosen.

The Award presentation ceremony will be during the Teachers Day celebrations to be held on September 5.

Teachers from DK  chosen for Award :     High School Section :  Jayananda N Peraje of Kalladka Sri Rama High School, Vasudeva Rao, of  Bajpe Holy Family High School, Joseph of Nelyadka Government High School, Belthangady, Rajashree, Headmistress of Moodbidri  Pranthya government High School, Chandrashehakar of Sullia Kukkujadka Chokkady High School.

Primary School Section :  , Jagadish Shetty, Headmaster of Amblamogaru Govt School, Vasanthi, headmistress of  Moodbidri Koppadakumeru Govt School, Lakshman Naik, Headmaster of Perlampady Govt School, Puttur, Umesh Gowda P, Headmaster of Sullia Koikuli Duggaladka Government School, Ramesh Naika of Mulur Government Higher Primary school, Dharanendra Jain of Belthangady Odilnala Govt. Higher Primary School, DN Raghava, Headmaster of Badaga Ekkar Govt Higher Primary School in Mangalore

Teachers from Udupi District chosen for Award :  High School Section : U Ahalya, Headmistress of Govt Higher Primary School, Shettibettu, Narayana Shetty, Headmaster of Govt  School, Mettinahole, Kusuma, Headmistress of Govt School Kajaraguttu, Venkatakrishna Rao, Headmaster of Sri Mahalingeshwara  Aided Higher Primary School, Nandalike and PN Aithal, of Govt Model School, Voderahobali.

Primary School Section : B Balagangadharnath Shetty of VK Acharya Memorial High School, Kunjalu,  Babu Shetty of Govt HS, Heskuttur,  Manju of  Rattubai Janatha HS , Byndoor, Sunitha Kumari of Govt HS, Hejamady Kodi and Rajendra Bhat K of ABMV Shastri High School, Inna.
