Yogish sent to judicial custody till July 15, to be lodged in Shimoga jail

Manipal : The District Court has remanded Yogish, the prime accused in the Manipal gang rape case to judicial custody till July 15. Like the other two main accused namely Anand and Hariprasad he too will be lodged in Shimoga jail for security reasons.

Yogish was discharged from hospital on July 11 and immediately arrested. He was taken to the hospital for a DNA test and then produced before the court.

Presently, all the five accused are in judicial custody till July 15. Balachandra and  Harindra the elder brothers of Yogish and Hariprasad respectively are however lodged in Hiriadka jail.
