Mangalore :”Former CM Yeddyurappa had in the past vowed that he will never go back to the BJP till his last breath. Where is his promise now?,” questioned senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojari.

Addressing press persons at the District Congress Office, Poojari said even the BJP which is sure that it can no longer exist without Yeddyuurappa is in dire need of him.
He also made a mockery of Gujarat CM and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi by questioning him as to why he was not opposing Yeddyurappa’s entry to BJP at a time when he speaks in length against corruption.
Poojari at the same time sympathised with senior BJP leader LK Advani and said despite the senior leader contributing much for the party, he remains neglected.
The senior Congress leader did not forget to hail the Pejawar seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji for shunning the tradition of sitting in a Palanquin carried by people.
On the areca ban proposal, Poojari said the government has already made it clear that there would be no bam and growers need not worry.
Several Congress leaders including Ibrahim Kodijal, Arun Coelho. Mithun Rai, Suresh Ballal, Hairkrishna Bantwal and others were present.
