Udupi : “I Vote for corruption -free government that concentrates lots more power to the system. My single vote might be able to change the faith of a voter”, said Damodar Acharya the general secretary of the Gram Panchayat hakkottaya.





“Voting for the right candidate is the responsibility of every one above the age of 18. Awareness and education about the right candidate and the freedom for vote is important. Every villager should have a self description about the election “,he said.
He was speaking in a programme organized at Panchayat Hakkottaya to create awareness among the citizens near the Gandhi statue in front of the service bus stop from 10 am to 3 pm today on March 6, 2014.
Today’s political and social situation is worsened so much that money speaks and everything is for sale, even our “rights”. It is a common trend to sell votes for some cash/ things. Which is against our constitution.
Kumar said by doing such activity is illegal and it is equal to sell our country, Choose a corruption-free government by using your right and vote.
