VHP, Bhajrangdal resent rise in cattle trafficking cases

Mangalore : The VHP and the Bhajrangdal have held the Congress Government responsible for the increasing cases of cattle smuggling reported from the region.

Jithendra Kottari, District President of Dharma Prachara Samithi who spoke to reporters on July 10, Wednesday, said  the cattle trafficking cases as also the rise in the cases of thefts in shrines including Basadis have hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.

He demanded stern action from the government  to prevent cattle trafficking and warned of protest otherwise from Hindu organizations.

VHP leaders Jagadish Shenava, Gopal Kuttar, Secretary, Bhajrangdal leaders  Sharan Pumpwell, Bhujanga Kulal, Pradeep Pumpwell, Goraksha Pramukh and others were present at the press meet.
