Mangalore :Traffic  on the road near the Town Hall in Mangalore was disrupted for some time following a war of words between the crew of government and private buses on February 5, Wednesday morning.

It has been gathered that a  dispute over the issue of  picking up passengers by a private and  a government bus operating on the Vittal route, led to the altercation.  Eyewitnesses said the crew of the two  buses halted their vehicles on mid-road and engaged in a quarrel resulting in a traffic snarl.

The Traffic police who rushed to the spot, somehow managed to convince the warring bus crew and ensured smooth movement of vehicles.
