Mangalore : A unique sound and lighting show  spreading the message of unity based on ancient poet Pampa’s famous verse Manushya Jaathi Thanonde Valam’ will be held at  Nehru Maidan in the city on February 7, Sunday.

Speaking to reporters at Vartha Bhavan here  on February 5, Wednesday, BA Khader Shah, District Information Officer said  the programme was a part of the Department’s efforts in creating an awareness on the ill-effects of the caste system.

The programme will commence at 7 pm and will be directed by C Basavalingaiah, renowned theatre director. Around 150 young artistes will present the programme, he said.

Chandrashekhar and Seema of Information Department were also present.
