Mangalore : The BJP in Mangalore has embarked on a fund raising drive for the victims of the Uttarakhand flood. On June 25, Tuesday, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the drive by making the first contribution to the cause.
Speaking on the occasion, he urged party men and members of the public to contribute to the cause of the needy and suffering. He said the BJP has formed four teams to collect the funds and that the same would be handed over to the Uttarakhand government through the state government.
Former MLA Yogish Bhat, Padmanabha Kottari, District BJP President, Capt. Ganesh Karnik, MLC, Srikar Prabhu and other party men were part of the fund raising drive in various parts of the city.
