Uppinangady : Police investigating into the case of  the brutal murder of the wife of Hirebandadi Government High School headmaster at their rented house near Gandhi Park here on June 5, have still not been able to achieve any breakthrough.

The deceased Pushpalatha (32), wife of headmaster Gurumurthi is said to have been suffering from mental depression. Forensic experts suspect the possibility of Pushpalatha killing self by stabbing. If this argument is to be believed, there seems to be no answer as to who might have locked up the house.

Police have already enquired Pushpalatha’s husband, children,  acquaintances as well as  Gurumurthi’s colleagues, but are unable to arrive at any definite conclusion  even after seeking the help of forensic, finger print experts and canine squad.
