Mangalore: A ‘Padadana Mela’ organised to promote the Tulunadu culture was inaugurated on December 30, Monday at the Sri Kadri Manjunatheshwara Temple premises. Ganesh Rao, Chairman of Karavali Educational Institutions inaugurated the programme.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura,District Kannada Sahitya Parishat  President who was present as a chief guest, said a special Tulunadu Jatre (festival) will be organized as a part of Tulunadu Teru  highlighting the  culture of people of Tulunad. The event will be held at Nehru Maidan on January 5 from 10 am to 7 pm, he informed.

AJ Shetty,Trustee of Sri Kadri Temple and Dr Rajesh Alva Badiyadka of Tuluworld.com were also present on the occasion.
