Mangalore: In a tragic accident a woman lost her life  when  a tipper collided against her Activa (KA 19U – 7827)  near the KMF Dairy at Kulshekhar on December 31, Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Jyothi a resident of Kudupu. Her age is estimated to be around 35-40 years.

Rash and negligent driving on the part of the driver of the tipper (KA 19B – 4527) is said  to be cause of the accident. The driver has escaped from the scene of the accident.

Kankanady Rural Police have registered a complaint and the search for the driver is on. It may be recalled here  that two lives  were lost in an accident that occurred at the same spot on December 29, Sunday.
