Kallikote : Asayyed Abdurrehman Al Bukhari, the Tangal of Ullal and President of the Federation of All India Sunni Ulemas, passed away here on February 1, Saturday. The Tangal who was 94 years of age breathed his last at his residence at Ettikula in Panoor at around 3.30 pm. Sources said his   last rites would be performed on February 2 at 10 am.

Tangal was a highly popular Sunni  leader and scholar. He has left behind  his  family, relatives and innumerous admirers.  Several dignitaries have condoled the demise of the Tangal.
