Mangalore: Two persons were arrested for engaging in IPL betting on Tuesday May 20, by the Mangalore police.
The arrested have been identified as Vineeth and Vijaykumar who had been running a center at Kodialbail for gambling.

Under the leadership of CCB inspector Valentine D’Souza, the city police nabbed the duo from their office at Kodialbail and seized cash over Rs 6.5 lakh.

According to the police sources there are a several more betting hubs operating in city and raids are anticipated in the coming days.

A case was filed in Barke police station.
