Mangaluru: Two accused have been nabbed by the police in connection of Ibrahim Nafsan murder attempt case.
It may be recalled that Ibrahim Nafsan, a youth from Ullal was attacked on April 25 by a gang of six men at Urdu School, Chota Mangaluru road.
The arrested are Prasad alias Pachu and Sharan of Mogaveerapatna. The two were from Ullal beach.
Half way through the attack, the gang had fled the scene on spotting the police patrolling the area.
Fortunately, Nafsan’s brother Naufal and their acquaintance Muzambil were passing by when they spotted Nafsan in a pathetic state.
They rushed him to the hospital and saved his life.
Nafsan has recovered from the injuries. Police are still in search of other four attackers.
Previously police have arrested four people who were involved in murder of Safwan, who succumbed to injuries that he sustained during an attack on April 25 at Thokkottu.
A string of attacks had taken place in Ullal area, leaving the region tense. The police had then imposed prohibitory order in the region to avert untoward incidents.
