Mangalore:
“The Lok Sabha polls are the most important and distinctive election when compared to any other election, as a collective decision is made towards the development of the nation”, said BJP leader and Karkala MLA  Sunil Kumar after inaugurating the BJP Election Campaign Office at Sanghaniketan on Saturday March 15.

Sunil Kumar said, “There are 18 BJP election offices around the district, we all gearing-up for the electoral process. However this  process does not only consist of delivering great speeches but also  keeping up promises.”

“Referring to the case of Yasin Bhatkal, Sunil Kumar said that there are enormous problems, issues, concerns, questions and obligations which ought to have been addressed to. But the UPA government has maintained  silence over every issue since the past ten years”, he alleged.

“During the Congress regime, the issues with regards to  social security, the terrorist attacks, rise in naxalism, Bangaladeshi intruders and other such concerns have been completely neglected”, alleged Sunil Kumar.

“In a recent report, I read a Congress leader stating that that Mangalore MP Nalin Kateel was trying to gain votes in the name of Modi, but why cannot the leader see that the Congress is still trying to gain votes in the name of Gandhi?” he retorted.

“Lately, the Minister for Transport, Road and Highways, Oscar Fernandes while allocating funds for road development apportioned Rs 30 crores to DK district, Rs 30 crores to Udupi district and Rs 108 crores to Mysore district. When such divisions are created by the Union Minster himself what else can be justified?,” Sunil Kumar questioned.

BJP leaders present during the inauguration were Pratap Simha Nayak, Monappa Bhandary, Nagaraj Shetty, Yogish Bhat, Koragappa Naik, Sulakshana Bhat, R Poojary, Balakrishna Bhat and others.
