Mangalore: Sudatta Jain , the district President of Akhila Bharathiya Karmika Sene,a trade union affiliated to the Sri Rama Sene has declared that he will be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha election from the Mangalore constituency.


Addressing a press meet on Tuesday January 14, he said he will work towards eradicating corruption if elected. When questioned about having the same ideologies as AAP, Sudatta Jain said, “I am in support of AAP and they are certainly doing a commendable work but we have worked at the grass root level for a very long time in the district thus can serve the district better.”
Referring to the latest scheme introduced by the state government, Jain said “The government has started a new scheme of providing Rs 2 to girl students per class with an aim to promote education, but what they cannot see is they are trying to bribe the students and their parents, moreover this monetary exchange at some point will lead to corruption”, he added.
He stated that the society is divided under sections of minorities and majorities, in areas of Health, Income, Employment etc.Rather than creating such a clutter we all can come together and work together and promote brotherhood, he added.
Moreover, Sudatta Jain also made a point by saying that the ministers from the BJP and Congress who have been ministers have not done justice to the society. “There are governmental provisions but the common man cannot utilize these facilities thus somebody needs to work in this direction and we can do it,” he said.
Claiming to be on “Vanavasa” for over 14years and rendering social service to the society he said, “After working for 14 years, I want to take a leap into politics and work more efficiently for the society.”
Dinesh JP Padukonaje from Moodabidri constituency unit of the Karmika Sene, Harish Kumar Shetty from Bantwal constituency, Sadashiva from North Mangalore constituency, Jagadish Maroli from South Mangalore constituency, H Ismail Shafi from Ullal constituency, Parshwanath Jain from Belthangady constituency were present at the press meet.
