Mangalore: A KSRP constable allegedly shot himself to death with a duty gun and committed suicide here in Jaddinagadde near Amasebail in Kundapur taluk in Udupi district on January 13, Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Albert D’Souza, son of Adam D’Souza who hails from Puttur. He had served in ANF for eight years and was under the ‘Jatin Gadhe camp’ in the Naxal hit areas.

It has been learnt that he was about to get engaged on January 26.The exact reason for his suicide is not yet known. Amasebail police are further investigating the case.
