Mangalore: The Konkani music video, Anjea Sarkhen Chedunn was released at Press Club here on December 21 after which on December 22 the Album was released at Infant Jesus Shrine Church Hall, Bikanarakatte, by Charles D’Souza (Kulshekar) who is a well known exponent and has also featured in the video.
Addressing all the artistes, crew and the sponsors Charles said that this was the happiest day of his life and cherished the memories during the shooting of the music video. He also congratulated Ryan on this accomplishment and wished him well for all his future projects.
Ryan thanked the entire cast and the technical team for their cooperation and professed that he had now the confidence of producing a full length Konkani feature film of good quality.
The original composer Jerome D’Souza, Ryan had selected this song as it is already well known but wanted to take it to a different level so that the youth of today enjoys it. He has reworked the music parts with new beats and contemporary vibe without messing with the Konkani feel of the song.
The Konkani music album Naach Konkannant released consequently at the Press Club of Mangalore on Saturday December 21.
The President of the Konkani Prachar Sanchalan Roy Castelino and Marian D’Souza who is a renowned artist from Bangalore presided over the function.
Sonal Monteiro who plays the female lead in the video and Shyam Shimpi the director of the video were also present on the dias.
Ryan D’Souza addressed the press on his experiences during the shoot of the video and thanked the people of Mangalore for their immense support.
They also informed that the Church Release at Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikanarakatte, will be held on Sunday December 22, 7.15 am Mass by Rev Fr. Elias D’Souza the director of the Shrine.
About The Album – Naach Konkannant
The Album is a mix of the hit from Legend Late Jerome D’Souza and has a couple of Ryan D’Souza’s compositions. This Album is dedicated to his mother Late Agnes D’Souza who passed away recently and was also a well known Singer who sang the Original “Shegunachin Sunn” which one of the hits in the world of Konkani Music.
Top musicians of bollywood have performed on this album which has 10 Songs.
