Moodbidri: Senior BJP leader and former union minister Dr Subrahmanium Swamy visited the Chowtara Palace at Moodbidri on Friday July 25,  on his departure from Shringeri where he had been on a private visit.

At Moodbidri, the BJP leader was accorded a warm welcome by Kuldeep of Chowtara Aramane. The leader was accompanied by VS Chandralekha of BJP, Jagadish Shetty, his Personal Assistant, Sudhir, Vijendra Shetty, Anand Kini and others.

Subrahmanium Swamy who was at the Palace for about half an hour, later left for Chennai via a flight from Mangalore Airport.
