Kasargod: In a tragic bike-lorry collision, 26-year-old youth was killed on the spot while his father sustained severe head injuries here at Mulleriya on January 18.

The deceased has been identified as K Sunil (26) who died in the crash. While his father Narayana Maniyani (56), has been admitted to Chengala Co-operative hospital in Kasargod.

The accident took place on Sunday morning at 9.30 in Kotyady 24 mail which under Aadoor police station limits.

The vehicle which was transporting poultry from Kasargod to Mulleriya rammed into their bike when they were travelling towards Mulleriya. The intensity of the accident was such; both were thrown on the road.
