Newskarnataka – Hubli

Hubli : A shoe intended to target Karnataka BJP President Prahalad Joshi was hurled  by some unidentified person  while the BJP leader was heading in a procession  to file his nomination for Dharwad Lok Sabha  seat on March 24, Monday.

Though Joshi was standing in the vehicle, sources said the shoe that was hurled towards him, did not touch the vehicle. The BJP men who were part of the procession, though tried to hide the shoe, they could not escape the eyes of the TV cameramen.

Several BJP leaders including former CM Jagadish Shettar and former union minister Baba Gowda Patil were part of the procession.

However, Joshi speaking to reporters later,  said   he came to know about the incident  later on  only after party men informed him.

No complaint  has been lodged.
