Moodbidri :Hosts  Alva’s College team has bagged the Shirva Leslie Godwin D’Souza Memorial Trophy by defeating Vijaya College team in the finals of the Udupi Zone Mangalore University level inter-college cricket tournament organised at Suratkal.

Earlier in the semi finals, the Alva’s team defeated M.S.R.S. Shirva team, while Vijaya College defeated U.P.M.C.College, Manipal. A total of 13 teams had taken part in the event.

Shivaranayana Aithal, Vijayakumar and Yatish Kumar distributed prizes to the winners at the valedictory function. Tilak Shetty, Physical Instructor of Alva’s College, James, Sports Secretary and others were present.
