Newskarnataka – Ullal

Ullal: A collision between a tanker and a scooter that occurred at Ombattukere, Someshwar, has  claimed the lives of two persons on Sunday March 23.

The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Dinesh, a resident of Ullal Mastikatte and 24-year-old Vitesh alias Munna, a resident Kolya.  Both are bus conductors. Dinesh worked for Karavali Travels and Vitesh was a conductor in Surabhi Travels.

The accident took place when Dinesh was riding the Honda Activa scooter, with Vitesh on the pillion. He was giving Vitesh a ride back home when a tanker plying towards Someshwar hit the two-wheeler on the rear end. The duo sustained gruesome head injuries  resulting in their death.
