Ullal : With strong winds lashing the coastal region, the sea at Ullal has turned rough with giant waves hitting the shores  resulting in sea erosion. On June 10, Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim and State Health Minister UT Khader, who also represents the constituency visited the area and took stock of the situation.

As many as 15 houses in Kaiko area and 25 houses in Uchila are facing dangers from sea erosion. Already a resort and several houses have been damaged.
