Mangalore: With an initiative to provide  comprehensive medical care facilities for the Government employees, UT Khader, Minister of Health and Family Welfare said that the State Government is in the process of implementing of ‘Sanjeevini’ a health scheme designed for Government employees that will enable them to avail necessary medical treatment free of cost.

Speaking to the media personnel during a press meet in the city, he informed that around 72lakhs government employees will be assisted under  the plan.

Moreover he also said that steps are being taken to distribute Arogya Sanjeevini card. As per the scheme the employees can also undergo cashless treatment in both government and private hospitals.
