RTO visits Panemangalore to resolve bus impasse

Bantwal:  Regional Transport Officer Afzal Khan visited Panemangalore Town on March 15, Saturday and held talks with the locals   and representatives  of the  Panemangalore Citizens Committee in the wake of the complaint that the rural permit private buses were not entering the Panemangalore town. A delegation of the Committee had earlier met the RTO and submitted a memorandum to him in this regard.

Speaking during his visit, the RTO said   the bus operators concerned have already been instructed to adhere to the rule  and enter Panemangalore town before proceeding on the highway.  He also said   steps have also been taken to slap penalty on the erring buses.

The RTO further informed that a meeting of the Panemangalore citizens and bus operators and drivers  will be convened at the Mangalore RTO office   very soon.

U Mustafa, Convenor of the Citizens’ Committee, P.M.Ashraf,   Ismail Aladka, Hamad Uppugudde, Co-Convenors, Hameed Banglegudde, Mustafa, Zubair Banglegudde and others were present.
