Mangalore : Ahmed Shahil (23), a youth hailing from Madoor near Derlakatte, who was seriously injured in a road accident at Al Dawadmi in Riyadh on  May 31, has succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on June 1.

The deceased  was the eldest son of Mohammad Hassan of Madoor and was working as a mobile technician in Riyadh where he joined work about a year and eight months ago. It is learnt that he was run over by a speeding vehicle while crossing the road.  Family sources say his last rites may be performed in Riyadh itself.
