Mangalore: Deriks Chess School prodigy Nidhi Shenoy Y  has secured runner up position in the karnataka state under 9 Girls Chess Championship held in Bangalore,as per press release from Deriks Chess School.

Nidhi scored 6 points with 5 wins and two draws in 7 round swiss league tournament.

Nidhi is studying in 4th standard St Theresas English COnvent School .She is the daughter of Vivek and Vidhya Shenoyfrom Bejai, Mangalore.
