Mangalore: Sri Rama Sene leader Kumar Malemar has said that his organisation strongly condemned the recent incident at the District Prison wherein  under trials belonging to one particular community assaulted  police personnel  including  the ACP.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club on Wednesday June 11, he described the incident as pre-planned and suspected the involvement of some unknown hands. He also demanded a high level probe by the district administration into the incident.

Referring to the recent statement of rationalist MM Kalburgi regarding the book authored by writer Ananthamurthi, Kumar Malemar has demanded legal action against those hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.

Sri Rama Sene District President Jeevan Neermarga, Vice President Ganesh Attavar, Mohan Padavinangady and others were present.
