Newskarnataka-Dharmasthala
Dharmasthala: Sri Rama is bestowed with all the heavenly virtues, while the worship of Him leads to embody such qualities in us, said Dr D Veerendra Heggade.
Dr Veerendra was speaking after offering motion for Sri Rama Kata religious discourse by Swami Raghaveshwar Bharati at Amrutavarshini auditorium, here on Tuesday September 24. Dr Veerendra symbolically offered the motion by showering flowers on Ramayana mythological text.
‘By listening to Ramayana, one gains spiritual bliss and inspires to lead meaningful living. The virtues of Sri Rama indeed cleanse the evil on the beholder. Dharmasthala is the center for religious harmony, wherein the speech has greater significance. Lord Manjunata always adheres to his words that have been in practice since centuries. The speech should be well mannered. If Lord Rama dwells in our hearts, life becomes easier,’ said Dr Veerendra.
The devotees listened the preaching of Swami Raghaveshwar Bharati on Sri Rama Kala, besides the devotional singing and viewed PowerPoint presentations on the occasion.
D Surendra Kumar, Anita Surendra Kumar, Harshendra Kumar, Sullia MLA S Angara, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, DK district BJP president K Pratapsimha Nayak were present.
