Bangalore:The state tourism department has embarked on publicity campaign to attract more number of tourists to witness Dasara Utsav in cultural city of Mysore, said higher education and tourism minister R V Deshpande.

A nationwide campaign has been embarked upon through the website to target maximum number of visitors to Dasara Utsav.  Besides, it was intended to introduced 314 tourist spots across the state, said minister Deshpande.

The booking facility will be made at Bangalore International airport for those overseas tourists arriving in the state capital and also inter-state bus facilities for the benefit of local tourists, said minister Deshpande.

The exhibition of flowers, fruits and vegetables will be laid on two-acre plot for the benefit of peasants, added minister Deshpande.
