Legal professionals must transcend all barriers : Dr Veerendra Heggade

Mangalore :  The Students Council of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Law College in Mangalore was inaugurated on August 27, Tuesday by Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Heggade, called upon the  law students to consider Constitution as supreme and rise above all barriers while pursuing their profession.

UT Khader, State Health  and Family Welfare Minister  and K Srikanth Rao, Commissioner of Udupi City Municipal Corporation, both alumni of SDM Law College, were warmly felicitated on the occasion.

Khader who spoke on the occasion, stressed the need for students to enrich their knowledge  and also get themselves empowered.

The function was presided over by Prof. SA Bari, Vice Chancellor of Kuvempu University. T Vidyashanker, Staff Advisor administered oath to the  new office bearers of the  Students Council Anish Krishna, President of the Students Council, Dr BK Ravindra, Principal and others were present on the occasion.
