Mangalore :A protest was held by the ABVP here on June 24th to demand that the State government provide text books to PUC students. As a part of the protest, students held rally at PVS circle and blocked the roads.





Addressing the students, the ABVP secretary Ramesh K said that “PUC classes have already begun in the colleges but we have not received textbooks. Lecturers are in confusion. 9 lakh PU students are there in state. At least 45 lakh books should have been provided but because of the negligence by state govt we have not received the same. Due to this delay students are suffering. Therefore the government should provide books as early as possible.”
ABVP district co-convenor Yathish Kumar, city secretory Chethan, state assistant secretory Anushka and many others were present.
