Bantwal: Nine year old Pratiksha, a student of Nayila Government School in Narikombu village, who had recently risked her own life to save the life of her classmate, will be conferred with Bravery Award for her alertness and courage. Little Pratiksha who had shown great presence of mind had offered immediate first aid to her friend who had suffered a snake bite.

The Krishnapura based Green Star Sports Club has decided to honour the girl with Bravery Award. Ismail Badriya, the President of Green Star Sports Club said that this award will be presented to Prathiksha by U T Khadar, State Heath Minister at a function to be held on February 15, Saturday. The Award consists of cash prize, memento, shawl and garland.
