Natl-level Pro-Kabaddi on shores of Panambur from Apr 15 to 17

Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada District Amateur Kabaddi Association in collaboration with Jaya Karnataka will be organizing national-level Pro Kabaddi tournament from April 15 to 17, at Panamboor beach.

Addressing the news conference, DK District Amateur Kabaddi Association President Rakesh Malli said that the event is going to be first of its kind as it will be staged on the shores of Panambur.
The competitions will be held from 4.30 pm to 10.30 pm on three days.
National teams of AirIndia, BPCL, ONGC, Mahindra and Mahindra, Vijaya Bank, State Bank of Mysore, HAL, MIG, central railway, Karnataka state police, RWF, Tamilnadu police and many other teams from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and other states would participate.

The winners of the tournament will take home a cash prize of Rs 2 lac.
First runner up will get Rs 1.25 lac, second and third runners up will get Rs 75000 each. Various individual awards will be given away.

While 20 teams have confirmed their participation, the organisers are expecting more.
