Bengaluru: With the demand for Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Kimmane Rathnakar’s resignation only intensifying, following two instances of PU Chemistry question paper leaks, Rathnakar said here on Friday that he was ready to step down, provided question paper leaks in future!
He was speaking to media at ‘Krishna’, CM’s official residence after high-level meeting over PU chemistry question paper leak scam.
Admitting the inconvenience caused to the student fraternity due to question paper leak scam, he said all remedial steps will be taken over the issue.
Adding further, he said re examination is inevitable and hence he requested the students to co operate.
The re examination is slated to be held on April 12, but the student community has been demonstrating against the two leaks and have been adamant that they would not appear for the exam again.
