Muhurat of Tulu movie ‘Brahmashree Narayana Guruswamy’ performed

Mangalore: The muhurtham of the much-awaited Tulu movie ‘Brahmashree Narayana Guruswamy’ based on the life of social reformer Shree Narayana Guru  was performed at the premises of Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple in Mulky on Sunday December 15.

 

Actor Darshan initiated the first-take of the movie, in the midst of a large number of spectators.

The film is produced under the banner of Tungabhadra Productions. Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Jayaprakash Hegde rolled the camera.

Speaking on the occasion, Darshan urged people to encourage films of such genre and exhorted youth to derive inspiration from such films.

Rashtriya Billawa Sangha President Jaya C Suvarna, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, script writer Sudhakar Bannanje, Urban Development Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, MLA Pramod Madhwaraj, Sathyananda Theertha Swamiji of Shivagiri Mutt, Kerala, former president of Tulu Academy  Umanath Kotian, and temple trustee Manohar Shetty were present for the Muhurat.
