Mangalore, Mar 19: Christian leaders from the city met police commissioner R Hithendra and filed a complaint against the morphed photograph of Mother Mary with Infant Jesus, which was uploaded on popular networking site Facebook, on Monday, March 17.

Morphed photograph depicts Sonia Gandhi as the Mother Mary and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal as the Infant Jesus.

Members of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) president Sheldon Crasta, Konkani Prachar Sanchalan, president Stany Alvares, and IFKCA president Roy Castelino, personally handed over a memorandum and urged to take strict action against the person who uploaded the morphed picture.

ICYM Director Fr Ronald D’Souza, Lawrence D’Souza, Alwyn Colaco , Rayan Rodrigues, Deryll D’Souza, Sandeep Monteiro and others were present.

As the image went viral virtually, Congress Udupi district president complaint the police via telephone on March 17. Though, on the same day evening, the morphed image has been discarded by the culprit, who uploaded and edited it.
